Waiting for my nephew...

...to come outside his building to shoot some balls...a little

 warm up before a match he's having with some friends.

Today I cooked...

...with the electric rice pot, because it allowed me to cook a large

quantity of rice and kept it warm for a very long time... I didn't

know if my guests were arriving on time and hungry! :D

When I'm cooking...

...rice just for me, I use only the right amount (also of water) in a 

small pot with a heavy bottom that allows faster and more 

concentrated heating. Besides being fast, there are no leftovers...rice 

is the only food that I don't like eating the day after. 

Either way, today I'll use a different pot!

My neighbour brought me "every color eggs"...

 ...(as he called it!) this weekend and it was just the perfect timing, 

as I was about to bake a cake tonight for tomorrow's lunch desert, 

because I'm having some people over.

Last Monday...

...we had an energy blackout for a few hours in the whole country

and I went to my "buelita's" to check her out but she didn't answer 

the door... Luckily I had the key to the backyard gate because she

was there, with headphones, listening to her old battery radio, seizing 

the last light of the day. :)
