I made...

 








...marmalade with the pulp and jelly with the peels and lumps
of this two huge quinces my neighbor gave me.
Usually marmalade is made out of oranges, but in Portugal
it's made with the original fruit: quince; in fact, I believe 
it was named after the fruit, that in portuguese is "marmelo".
[For those who are not familiar with the fruit used as quince, it's
actually: arrack - in portuguese: araçal or araçá]
